Abigail Addo-Danso graduated from the Aburi Girls’ Secondary School, Aburi, Ghana and moved on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. Abigail holds a post-graduate degree in Land Management (MSc. Land Management) from the Cranfield University, United Kingdom. She also holds a post-graduate degree in Forestry (MSc. Forestry) from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Miss Addo-Danso joined the CSIR-Crops Research Institute in 2019. Her unique interest is in enhancing knowledge and understanding bamboo-based intercropping systems, and is currently working on bamboo-yam intercropping using bamboo as live stakes. Abigail is also interested in understanding the agriculture-forestry interface for improved food production. She is married with four children.
