Ing. Dr. Amponsah is involved with the following projects: Revenue diversification in Africa through bio-based and circular agricultural innovations (DIVAGRI), Mechanization and Work in Agro-ecological Transitions (MeCaWAT), Agroecology and Circular Economy for Ecosystem Services (ACE4ES). He currently has over 46 publications (peer reviewed articles and book chapters) to his credit.

An accomplished Agricultural Engineer and Principal Research Scientist at the CSIR-Crops Research Institute in Kumasi, Ghana, Ing. Dr. Shadrack Kwadwo Amponsah boasts over 15 years of experience spearheading innovation in the field. His profound expertise in agricultural mechanization encompasses the design, assessment, and implementation of farm machinery and postharvest technologies.
Dr. Amponsah’s leadership is exemplified by his successful track record in securing funding and leading impactful projects. He is also dedicated to mentoring the next generation of agricultural engineers at KNUST and AAMUSTED. He fervently advocates for knowledge transfer, actively engaging in training programs that empower farmers and artisans with modern agricultural practices.
Recognized for his contributions, Dr. Amponsah holds esteemed board positions in key organizations and lends his expertise as a consultant on various projects. His work exemplifies a commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture through mechanization and technology dissemination in Ghana and beyond.
