The Commercialization Division is tasked with encouraging and promoting commercialization of the Institute’s research results. Its main focus is to coordinate and drive all of the Institute’s commercial activities to enhance its income generating capacity. The division is also responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for commercial products and services. The division aims at making the CSIR-Crops Research Institute the first point of call for quality planting materials, technologies, research outputs and auxiliary services in the food and industrial crops sector.

The main sections of the division are Product Development, Marketing & Sales and Business Development. Our doors are opened to all players in the crops sector for strategic partnerships. Agriculture-based organizations and individuals are encouraged to contact the Director, CSIR-Crops Research Institute for consideration.
