JOURNEY TO ACHIEVING RICE SELF SUFFICIENCY
Staff from our rice division organised a farmers’ field day for farmers in the Atwima Nwabiagya district in the Ashanti region of Ghana on 11th July, 2020.
Farmers from three (3) communities, Sokwai, Ntesere, Mfensi participated in varietal selection of sixteen (16) elite rice lines. Focus group discussions were held after field observations and varietal choices and observations were captured and presented by the various groups.
