Brief bio:
I am a Plant Pathologist and Nematologist with a focus on sustainable disease management strategies for crops. I work collaboratively with national and international partners as part of multidisciplinary teams to develop and promote innovative solutions, ranging from improved crop varieties to eco-friendly pest and disease management packages, that directly support farmers.
My expertise spans several critical areas, including plant disease surveillance and diagnostics, host resistance through phenotyping and genotyping, and the identification and characterization of indigenous beneficial organisms such as fungi and nematodes.
I am also deeply involved in knowledge exchange and technology transfer to ensure that practical, science-based solutions reach and benefit end users effectively.
