Brief Bio:

I am currently a PhD student majoring in Plant Breeding at the Department of Plant Science at the University of Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. I hold an Mphil Agronomy (Plant Breeding) and a Bsc Biological Science degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). I have the experience of working with the Local Government Service as the Assistant Agricultural Officer and with the IITA Africa RISING project as the research supervisor and coordinator in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

I currently work on breeding, genetic improvement and promotion of Indigenous leafy vegetables (ILVs) like Amaranthus (Alefe), Corchorus ( Ayoyo), Gboma, Hibiscus (Roselle) at the CSIR – Crop Research Institute, Kwadaso.
